Law Library & Resources

The MLA provides a full range of services to MLA members and their students, Law Society of Ontario lawyers, and the judiciary. It is not open to members of the public. Professional, experienced staff are available to assist you with your research and use of the library facilities.

The MLA Library

The Middlesex Law Association Library is part of the MLA’s Practice Resource Centre. It is a Regional Library in the LiRN System and has an extensive collection of Canadian and British resources both in print and online.

Ontario lawyers can access the LiRN Electronic Suite of Legal Resources from any of the computers in the library at no charge.

The library is located on the ground floor of the London Courthouse at 80 Dundas Street and is staffed Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm. MLA Members have 24/7 access via the code on the library entrance door. Please contact the library to get the code if you do not have it.

Clients and members of the public are not allowed access to the space at any time for any reason.

The MLA Library also has Library Materials Loan Policy governing borrowing of items from the collection.

Research

Experienced reference staff are available to answer questions, advise on research strategy, and assist in locating and using library resources. Research services are also available using print materials and online databases.

Equipment

Print, scan, photocopy documents and bind reports with our professional-grade library equipment. There are six research computers available for library users.

Association

Rest assured that everything you need is conveniently located within the London courthouse.
