Newsletter Submissions

Contributors: The Snail welcomes articles from MLA members in Word format, along with photos, headshot and headline.

Length and format: For clarity and readability, we encourage submissions in the range of 200-500 words, with a maximum limit of 1000 words for news and opinions, and a limit of 2000 words for articles on law and legal issues. At the request of the contributor, any submissions shortened in this way can also be published with a link to the full article to be obtained directly from the author.

Potential topics for submissions include, but are not limited to:
· Discussion of a legal issue & case reviews
· Recognition or profile of someone in the legal community
· Practice tips
· Opinion/editorial

The Middlesex Law Association encourages all members to submit their written opinions on the issues facing lawyers in our association. The MLA Newsletter is a platform for the members of the MLA to have their voices heard.

The statements and opinions contained in the publications in the Snail are solely those of the individual authors and do not reflect those of the MLA or its Trustees. The appearance of advertisements in the Snail publications is not a warranty, endorsement or approval of the products, opinions or services therein.

The Snail is published quarterly in January, April, July, and October. The deadline for each issue is noon on the 25th of the preceding month unless it lands on a weekend, and then it is the following Monday.
